-hi I thought I should introduce myself. I am from CA…im a huge fan of the 60’s & 70’s music.. I do also love that song ‘lay a little lovin on me’…love dogs…got 3 of em =) I also love watching reality shows… right now my fave is Rock Star…it’ll be showing later tonight… I love any type of music… love goin campin… things like that. Well I just thought I would say hello!!

Thanks for posting and introducing yourself. I'm Laura, the moderator of this forum and the webmistress for the main site. I love dogs also and at one point had four of them, so I can relate (I'd have a hundred if I could). I love the music of the 50's, 60's and 70's, especially the terrific music of Robin McNamara and the other folks with whom composer-producer Jeff Barry worked (Andy Kim, Ron Dante of The Archies, etc.). Basically I love the singers and songwriters who originated at the Brill Building in NYC during the 50's, 60's and up through 1971.
Glad you came aboard and we hope to hear from you often. Please let your friends know about us too - Robin and I both visit the board nearly every day, and Robin's available to answer any questions or address any comments about his career and the music scene of the 60's.

hi & thank you for the warm welcoming!! i have been really getting into music from past era's...lately ive been listening to old inxs music...not too old, but after watching rock star...im starting to really get into their songs. & of course ive been listening to the beatles... its been on heavy rotation since forever...i dont think i could ever get tired of them.
